We previously posted Summit announcing the supporting cast inBreaking Dawn including Ty Olsson. Summit didn’t announce what role the supporting cast will be playing. The Twilight Examiner, Amanda Bell, reported Ty Olsson will be playing Phil Dwyer, Bella’s stepfather.

In Twilight, Phil travels constantly playing minor league baseball, so he spent a majority of his time away from his new family. Because of this, Bella chose to move to Forks with her biological father, Charlie Swan, to give Renée and Phil time to be together. Eventually, Phil was able to get a contract signed with the Suns, a minor league baseball team in Jacksonville, Florida, and he and Renée moved there together.
In Twilight, Phil was played by actor Matt Bushell.
