I'm a bit surprised by this one. I don't think she's terrible, and she looks like she's having so much fun doing it. I would have pegged John Ratzenberger or Billy Ray Cyrus to go before her, but I'm betting they have larger fan bases, and that's what did her in.The former Miss USA winner hung up her dancing shoes last night, along with her professional dancing partner, Brian Fortuna. I felt bad for her, because she really tried to kick it up a notch this week, having been extra-motivated from being in the bottom two last week. The judges dubbed them the "Ken and Barbie" of the competition, and they definitely were the All-American couple.
"I wasn't really surprised," Finnessey told People magazine after being eliminated. "I'm so new to Hollywood and Brian is completely new to the show. People didn't really get to know our personalities yet, whereas you have people who have played basketball for decades and performers who've been on stage for years. They already had their fanbases established."
Shandi is the host of two game shows on the Game Show Network: Lingo with Chuck Woolery and Playmania, and will be heading back there. Brian is going to be relocating to Hollywood and trying his hand at the fame thing.
