Drew Barrymore: Newest Face of CoverGirl

Quirky actress Drew Barrymore is joining the ranks of supermodels Rachel Hunter and Christie Brinkley. She is the newest spokesmodel for the CoverGirl line of beauty products. But more than just that, the 32-year-old is also the co-creator of the ads, consulting on everything from wardrobe, graphics, lighting and cropping with the team of photographers, stylists and designers.

But, she said, "I leave the make-up and product up to them, that's their expertise. What I want to do is honor the tradition of CoverGirl but hopefully bring myself and my personality into it, as well as some edgy, fashion-forward thinking and positivity to it."

Esi Eggleston Bracey, vice president and general manager of CoverGirl said at the press conference last month, "We partnered with Drew because she emulates the iconic image of CoverGirl with her fresh, natural beauty and energetic yet authentic spirit."
