David Slade took to Facebook recently and revealed his next project now that the Eclipse storm is dying:

Other rumours mythbusted: I am not directing a remake of “Christine”, nor am I directing “The Shadow”.

I can confirm (pretty much) that before starting on my next (secret right now) film I will be guest directing an episode of “Breaking Bad”.

He also joked a little about his involvement in Twilight and suggestions he made for new Twilight films:

How do you know Twi isn’t my cup of tea? I actually got completely lost in the historical backstories of Eclipse…

…and suggested directing an R Rated film based on “The Short 2nd Life Of Bree Tanner” to Stephenie Meyer.

Other behind scenes stories: Early alt title for Eclipse: “Twilight 3, Twi-Hard or Die Twi-ing” was rejected by the studio more than once.
