Actress Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, have welcomed a new little man into their lives. Liam Aaron McDermott was born yesterday, weighing in at 6 lbs, 6 oz. In a happy chapter to her last few years of family turmoil, it seems the new baby has brought Tori and her mom's relationship a little closer. They have been estranged since Tori divorced her first husband, and the relationship only worsened after Aaron Spelling's death last year.Tori's mom, Candy Spelling, was at the hospital yesterday, and told People magazine, "Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event. I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."
The couple will soon be hitting the small screen, with their new Oxygen reality show, Inn Love, detailing the opening of their new B&B, Chateau La Rue, in California.

People reports that Tori Spelling and her mom Candy are working on fixing their relationship. The two have been estranged for quite a while, but it looks like the future Baby McDermott might have helped patch things up.People's source is Tori's brother Randy who said: "My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks." He also said they are planning on meeting in person soon: "They are going to be there for each other and [Tori's soon-to-arrive] baby. My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective."
During her appearance today on Good Morning America, Tori also mentioned her hope that she and her mother would reconcile.
