Brody's Mom Thinks He & Avril Are Adorable Filed under ( Avril Lavigne, Brody Jenner, Linda Thompson )

Brody Jenner has had his fair share of females in Hollywood – Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Conrad, and Jayde Nicole to name a few – but now the reality star seems to have found his match with punk-rock princess Avril Lavigne.

“They’re adorable!” gushes his mom Linda Thompson to OK! at the Melanie Segal VMA Lounge at SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. “She’s the sweetest girl… I’m very happy that he’s met her.”

The couple first appeared to be an odd pairing, but there’s more than meets the eye, because according to Linda, Brody and Avril have lots in common.

“They are very much each other,” Thompson explains. “They are both hard-working, fun-loving, committed, responsible, and ecclactic. They are a male and female version of each other, which makes for a great relationship.”

Avril began dating Brody after her split from her now ex-husband Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley, and Brody has already made a big commitment to Avril: her name tinked on his forearm, and shaving an “A” on one side of his mohawk.

“I think it’s a more clear indication of commitment,” Thompson continues. “That’s a pretty strong commitment to have someone’s tattoo written on your body.”

Engagement rumors have been swirling around the couple for months – does his mom think they’ll make it official anytime soon?

“I wouldn’t want to assume to project that, but they could both do a lot worse!” she gushes.

After sporting a Mohawk for a few weeks and then carving an "A" in honor of girlfriend Avril Lavigne into the side of his head, Brody Jenner has decided to give it all up in favor of a hairless head.

The Hills star went for a workout yesterday and we caught a glimpse of his new look. Like it? Of do you prefer Brody's shaggier, curly 'do like he had before he started playing around with all of these hairstyles?

Things seem to be getting serious between Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner, and yesterday (August 19) the “Complicated” rocker was seen with the “Hills” stud’s mom Linda Thompson.

Pairing up quite well, Avril and Linda looked be getting along nicely as they strolled back to their car after eating at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles.

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner seem to be madly love, but sources close to the couple tell X17online exclusively that Brody is ONLY with Avril for the fame. In fact, they've even taken to calling the reality star "Avril's K-Fed!"

The singer is trying to keep their love affair on the down low, but Brody is doing anything he can to draw attention to their romance, says our source.

In addition to  getting matching tattoos and shaving an "A" into the side of his head, the source says that even though Brody previously denied it, he's secretly been shopping a reality show about the couple. In fact, our source reveals it was all set up with Ryan Seacrest Productions... but fell apart when Avril refused. (Calls to RSP were not immediately returned.)

But that's not all he's doing to capitalize on their relationship.

"Brody isn't working right now," says our source. "He still gets offers for hosting celebrity club events, but because he is not a big star he only gets paid $10 000 per appearance. But Brody is quite smart at getting as much as he can out of his fame before it runs out -- His latest idea is that if he can get Avril to go with him to club events that he gets paid to host , he will get paid 4 or 5 times as much money. $50,000 instead of $10,000 because Avril is a much bigger star!" 

"It worked for Sam Ronson when she took Lindsay Lohan with her to DJ gigs," our source continued, "so he thinks it can work for him!"

Avril's pals are secretly laughing at the fame-hungry Brody behind her back. But when will the Punk Princess wise up and ditch her Prince of Malibu?

Brody Jenner and his girlfriend, rocker Avril Lavigne, head out together on Saturday afternoon (August 7) in Los Angeles.

The duo reportedly left a special recording session with British singing sensation Cheryl Cole at her apartment. (Cheryl is rumored to be dating Dancing with The Stars pro Derek Hough.)

Avril Lavigne is "very happy" with her new boyfriend Brody Jenner.

The 'Girlfriend' singer - who started dating 'The Hills' star in February after filing for divorce from her husband, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, last October - and her new lover are very settled in their relationship, according to Brody's friend Audrina Patridge.

Audrina said: "They're very happy together, they're really good together. A lovely couple."

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I first met her a couple of years ago, and thought she was such a nice girl then. She's still a really nice girl now, and is really very talented. She's so great."

Avril and Brody have grown closer and closer in recent months, and recently proved their dedication to one another by having matching tattoos.

Avril has a 'Brody' inking next to her right breast, while Brody's 'Avril' tattoo is on his inner arm.

Well, she must think she does, because she and her rock-star husband, Deryck Whibley, have just plunked down $9.5 million for a home that features eight bedrooms and 10-1/2 bathrooms. Seriously, I think that's just ridiculous, but that's just me.

The three-story house is in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air and includes an elevator, sauna and garage space for 10 cars.

The pop star has been married to Sum 41 frontman for nine months. She will release her third album, "The Best Damn Thing," next week.
