On July 30, Britney Spears’ divorce from Kevin Federline, to whom she was married for two years, became final — but the battle has just begun. While Brit’s attorney states that Kevin and Britney will continue to split custody 50-50 of Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 10 months, insiders say that Kevin is unhappy with the arrangement and intends to seek full custody of his kids. Kevin is enraged that Britney brought their children to Las Vegas without his written permission to take them out of state, which is required by California law during custody battles. And Britney’s cousin Alli Sims has joined forces with Kevin and is providing key information and personal accounts he can use against his ex-wife. A source close to Kevin tells OK!, “He’s prepared to fight this bitch for the next 18 years.”

So, if you were Britney Spears, how would you finish this sentence? Marrying Kevin Federline was _________________. According to MSNBC, Britney ended this sentence with the the most reasonable three words we've heard from her in years: "my biggest mistake." Star magazine reports that this exchange occured as Kevin Federline and Britney Spears nailed down the details of their divorce:

"Do you really want to do this?" Spears asked K-Fed as the two met to discuss final details of their divorce, reports to the upcoming issue of the tab.

K-Fed said yes, and his estranged wife replied, "You're the biggest mistake I've ever made, but thank you for my babies."

Among the agreements reached by the couple: K-Fed gets $500,000 per year of marriage instead of the $250,000 called for in their prenup to speed up the negotiations, K-Fed gets "half the proceeds from their Malibu mansion, which is on the market for $13.5 million," Britney will pay Kevin $25,000 a month in child support, K-Fed gets the kids four days a week, and he gets to keep gifts she gave him. The most interesting thing for those of us that write gossip blogs: Federline is forbidden from writing a tell-all about their marriage. Damn it!
