Robert Pattinson on the Ellen Degeneres Show: 3 memorable moments

HollywoodNews.com: Fans hung on every word that came out of Robert Pattinson’s mouth during his appearance today on the Ellen Degeneres Show.

There were many winning moments (so, if you haven’t seen it, go check the entire interview out). In the meantime, here are my picks for the three most memorable moments:

Rob on Brooding. When Ellen asked whether he was more comfortable doing acting than he was doing interviews such as those for shows like her own, Rob admitted that he preferred “having a little more time to think about what he was saying” than real-time interviews afforded. He got a laugh from the audience when he talked about the media-imposed stereotype that he has a “brooding” personality. Commenting on what was usually going on in his head when his face took on a serious look, Rob insisted there was “literally, nothing. It’s like that Simpson’s episode…”

Rob on Dancing. Also a big hit with the audience was Ellen’s threat to make Rob dance (the host is known for promoting dancing on her show). Rob balked at the idea that he could dance, though seconds later admitted to having taken ballet lessons until the age of ten. Audience noise could be heard more prominently when he discussed his uniform of a black leotard.

Rob in a Silk Robe with a Blindfolded Fan. The rumors were true. One lucky fan was permitted to “feel up” Rob. Chosen at random was a flight attendant in town from Melbourne, Australia. Instructed not to touch his face—only his body—she was blindfolded and faced with three silk-clad men. She tried her hardest to choose which was Rob. In the end, she got it wrong.
