Yeah, I'm a little surprised too. The former X-Files star is coming back to tv this summer as the star and executive producer of an as-yet-untitled comedy series about a single dad with a weakness for attractive women. Doesn't sound like anything new, does it? But I promise to give it a chance before casting any stones.

Sex and the City alum Evan Handler is set to co-star. The show will air on Showtime and is scheduled to start in August.
